16th BioAsia conference starts from today in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Bio Asia, the annual global life sciences conference hosted by the Telangana government. will be held on February 25-27. The 16th edition of the meet will deliberate on the disruption required in life sciences, healthcare and biotech industries.“The theme for this edition is Life Sciences 4.0 – Disrupt the Disruption’, which will focus on healthcare being reimagined as a result of technological disruption,’’ Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary – Industries, Commerce & IT, Telangana, told a press conference here. Over the past 15 years, BioAsia has helped attract investments to the tune of about ?15,000 crore and organised around 16,000 business meetings during the event, the official said. This year’s edition has South Korea as the partner country with South Africa and Spain as international partners. Four other States – Karnataka, Odisha, Assam and Gujarat – have joined hands with Telangana in organising the meet.
