Congress MLA from Nakrekal meets CM KCR

Hyderabad: Congress MLA from Nakrekal, Chirumarthy Lingaiah met Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandra Shekar Rao toady. According to media reports, the Congress MLA might soon be defecting to the TRS party. This meeting between the Nakrekal MLA and KCR has led to a lot of political speculation regarding the Komatireddy siblings. According to political analysts, this meeting could probably indicate that the Komatireddy brothers, Venkata Reddy and Rajagopal Reddy might also be joining the TRS soon.


Chirumarthi Lingaiah is the close aid and follower of former Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. Congress insiders say that the Komatireddy brothers have long been unhappy under the leadership of TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy. The Komatireddy brothers are said to believe that they do not see a future for themselves within the Congress. It is now being speculated that the Komatireddy brothers might join the TRS ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
