Modi dropped several bombs on people: Vijayashanti

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee campaigning committee chairperson Vijayashanti violated political protocol by saying Prime Minister Narendra Modi “scaring the people like a terrorist.” Addressing a public meeting before Congress president Rahul Gandhi arrived at the venue in Chevella constituency on Saturday, Ms Vijayashanti said, “Mr Narendra Modi dropped several bombs like demonetisation and GST on the people. Now, everyone in the country is afraid that he may drop another bomb at any moment. Instead of loving the people, the Prime Minister is scaring the people like a terrorist. The people have also begun to feel frightened after the Pulwama attack.”

Ms Vijayashanti said: “The Assembly elections were completed in Telangana and now the war has begun between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi. Modi’s rule is autocracy and Rahul’s soul is democracy.”

She alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandra-sekhar Rao was buying Congress MLAs “by paying more than `30 crore to each. If we vote for the TRS then it will benefit the BJP. Despite KCR and KTR’s comments against Narendra Modi, they have a deal with him.”
