According to Journalist Sai, Seva Mitra App is used to identify beneficiaries, who are loyal and against TDP. Based on the recommendation of booth-level Seva Mitra, a beneficiary will be extended social welfare schemes. The TDP claims Seva Mitra App was developed for party purpose. Sai says state government had sanctioned crores of rupees to the company managing Seva Mitra App for conducting surveys in the State. He said if Aadhaar and election details of a beneficiary are linked to Seva Mitra App without permission of UIDAI and Election Commission of India then it is a data theft.
