Former TRS MP Jithender Reddy Joins BJP

Former TRS MP A.P. Jithender Reddy has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after he was denied ticket for next month's elections. It was a homecoming for him, as he was elected to Lok Sabha from Mahabubnagar on the BJP ticket in 1999. He later quit the Saffron party to join the TRS at the peak of Telangana movement. Jithender Reddy has formally joined the BJP in the presence of party President Amit Shah in New Delhi. National General Secretary Ram Madhav has played a key role for Jithender Reddy to join in BJP.
