Harish Rao assured compensation to farmers for damaged crops

Siddipet: Former Minister and Siddipet MLA, T Harish Rao has visited various villages in Nanganur Mandal where hailstorm and unseasonal rains damaged the standing crops on Monday evening. As the local leaders guiding the Minister through the villages and fields, Rao has examined the crop loss at Akkenapally, Gatla Malyala, Kondamraju Pally, Katha, Ghanpur and other villages. A farmer’s couple, whose Mango Orchard was completed damaged due to unexpected rains, broke down while narrating her families plight to Rao. Consoling the couple, the Sididpet MLA has assured that they would get enough compensation for the crop loss. Meanwhile, the Horticulture and Agriculture departments were preparing to estimate the crop loss following the directions of Collector, D Krishnabhaskar.
