Telugu sweet couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha who have cast their votes. Voters have been coming out to exercise their franchise in the first phase of general elections to the Lok Sabha (House of People) in the 17 parliamentary constituencies in the Telangana State. The Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are scheduled in Andhra Pradesh state in a single phase on April 11 for 175 assemblies and 25 parliamentary constituencies. After the bifurcation of the State, 42 Lok Sabha seats were divided among the two Telugu States Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with the former getting 25 seats and the latter 17, respectively.
