official dies of cardiac arrest on election duty

Khammam: A junior assistant working in the irrigation department at Madhira died of cardiac arrest while he was on election duty. Nagaraju (35), a native of Wyra was deployed as an election officer at polling centre 199 in Kishtaram village of Sattupally. After inspecting the arrangements at a polling centre on Wednesday, Nagaraju suffered severe chest pain. He went to the Sattupally government hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. He was married to Krishnaveni eight years ago and has two daughters -- Vennela and Mananvi. Sattupally Tehsildar K Vijay Kumar and RI Vijay Bhaskar handed over Nagaraju's body to his family.
