KTR counters on Amit Shah's remark on NRC

TRS working president KTR on Friday gave a call to people to condemn the statement of BJP national president Amit Shah who took a vow to implement National Register of Citizens (NRC) across the country. He also urged the Election Commission of India to take note of the speech for violating the Model Code of Conduct.

In a public meeting in West Bengal on Thursday, Amit Shah stated that the BJP government would ensure implementation of NRC in the entire country. He also said the BJP government would remove every single infiltrator from the country except Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists. Responding to the statement in a tweet on Friday, Rama Rao expressed shock over BJP’s brazenness targeted at one particular community and termed it as abominable and appalling. He wondered, “I guess this is what ‘Sab ka Saath’ meant!!
