Keesara: Even as investigations by the police into the brutal killing of a Class IX girl from Hajipur village in Bommalaramaram mandal, which came to light on Friday last continued, the police on Monday discovered another shocker in the same village, raising the prospects of a possible serial killer lurking in the area. The police, investigating the minor’s death, on Monday discovered the skeletal remains of another young woman, suspected to be that of Manisha, also a resident of Hajipur village who had gone missing since March 15 this year. The remains were found in the same abandoned well in which the minor girl’s body was found last Friday.

The police are also confident of achieving a breakthrough in the investigations into the minor’s killing after picking up 15 youths addicted to ganja in Hajipur and from surrounding villages and interrogating them. According to police sources, the name of Marri Srinivas Reddy (28) kept popping up as a possible suspect in the minor’s killing. Srinivas, also a resident of Hajipur, is now a reported suspect in Manisha’s killing too.
