Govt plans big for Telangana formation day on June 2

Telangana Chief secretary S.K. Joshi on Thursday asked the officials of the police, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation as well as cultural and tourism departments to speed up making the arrangements at Parade Ground in Secunderabad to celebrate the Telangana Formation Day on June 2. Mr Joshi was reviewing the preparations for celebrating the state's formation day with the senior officials of the departments concerned.

The chief secretary asked the officials to ensure that the arrangements are made without causing inconvenience to the people. He said that on June 2, a drone show will be organised at Tank Bund and on June 3, Perini Dance programme will be held at LB Stadium with 1,001 artistes. Oggu artistes will also conduct a show on at the stadium on June 4, he said.
