TV9 Financial director appears before Cyberabad police

TV9 news channel's Chief Financial Director MVKN Murthy on Friday appeared before the Cyberabad Cybercrimes police in connection with a case registered against him, Chief Executive Officer V. Ravi Prakash and others.

Murthy appeared before the investigators in response to a notice issued to him, Ravi Prakash and others after a case was booked against them on April 30 under Sections 420, 468, 471, 120 (B) IPC along with the Sections 66-C, 66-D of the IT Act.

It is learned that the investigators quizzed him about the alleged forgery of signature of the Company Secretary Devender Agarwal. Ravi Prakash was also supposed to appear before the investigators but he has not turned up till reports last came in.Meanwhile, the Board of Directors of the Associated Broadcasting Company Pvt Ltd is expected to announce a change of management in TV9 later on Friday.
