Federal and family fronts had become irrelevant: Laxman

Hailing the exit polls which forecast a return of the NDA government, BJP Telangana president K Laxman on Monday said his party would grow in the State in the way it believed it has done in West Bengal."The results are now in EVMs. Whatever surveys and exit polls said showed that our partywill win over 300 Lok Sabha seats," said Laxman.The BJP is all set to rewrite the political history in Telangana State in the near future just as it had done in West Bengal, he said.


Addressing the media here, he said the violencewitnessed in West Bengal was triggered bythe autocratic rule of the Trinamool Congress chief and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.However, the sacrifices made by the party cadre in West Bengal would not go waste.Terming similar autocratic and dictatorial regime was in existence Telangana State, he said his party would rewrite the history in the State in the near future.


"Entire Telangana is waiting for good days to come in the State to free themselves from the TRS regime," he said. The Congress is going to vanish in the State and those accused the majority people with fashionable political rhetoric like Hindu terror, Hindus or Bondus will face backlash," he said.


Criticising the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministers K Chandrashekar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu, Laxman said the Federal Front and family fronts had become irrelevant.


Andhra Pradesh and Telangana would be free from the rule of the two "Chandras" (Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu), he said.
