KTR gets honoured with Urban Leader of the Year Award

Hyd, Dec 21: The Telangana IT and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao was honoured the Urban Leader of the Year Award here on Wednesday.

At the Business World's 5th Smart City Seminar and Awards programme here on Wednesday, KTR's contribution for the growth of smart cities was hailed.

Union Minister for Urban Development Hardip Singh Puri gave away the award to KTR. Telangana bagged two Business World Awards for Urban Development programs - Swachh Bharat programs and for the creation of infrastructure.

Telangana also bagged an award in the area of basic infrastructure which was received by Municipal Secretary Navin Mittal and Special Resident Commissioner Aravind Kumar. TRS MPs, K Kavitha, and Vishweshwar Reddy congratulated KTR on his achievements.
