TSSPDCL inks MoU with solar company Freyr Energy

Hyderabad, Dec 21: The Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) signed MoU with Freyr Energy, a Hyderabad-based solar service provider, for supply and installation of rooftop solar projects on their department offices and substation government buildings in Medak and Nalgonda.

The total capacity of the project is 300kWp in Medak and 290kWp in Nalgonda. The duration of the project is estimated at 12 months.

Freyr Energy nearly completed the site survey of the allotted sites and TSSPDCL saw the submission of four energy companies against the floated tender.

Talking about the MoU, Saurabh Marda, Co-founder, Freyr Energy said, "The State government's actions in the direction of harnessing solar power and paving way for a cleaner world is commendable".
