Odisha officials pay visit to see Mission Bhagiratha work

Sangareddy: A team of Irrigation and Finance Department officials form Odisha visited Singur project in Sangareddy to see the Mission Bhagiratha works undertaken by Telangana government here on Wednesday.

NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development) and Telangana government jointly organised the visit for the officials of Odisha.

Chief Engineer, Mission Bhagiratha, Vijay Prakash explained about the project and works undertaken by them at Singur.

Additional Secretary of Finance Department, Odisha, PK Nanda said they were visiting Telangana and Mission Bhagiratha works to learn positive aspects of the project.

Since Odisha government had plans to take up a drinking water project soon, Nanda said Odisha government had sent them to see the Telangana government’s work. The team also visited Ramachandrapuram in Medak district.
