The Siddipet Police have cracked the sensational missing case of the car driver Gajagoni Ravindar, who went missing a fortnight ago.
Ravindar, a resident of Moinpura in Siddipet town, left his home on March 28 saying that he was going to Shamshabad Airport to drop passengers and informed them that he would come back on the same night, but he never returned home. He did not attend any phone calls on the first day though the phone was ringing. It went switched off on the next day. Suspecting that something went wrong, his family members lodged a complaint with One Town Siddipet police station as their attempts to trace Ravindar proved futile.Police teams under the leadership of ADCP, Narasimha Reddy traced his dead body buried at Kothur village in Rangareddy district on Saturday. According to Reddy, three persons – Md Asif, Gol Singh and Mukesh Chowan – had hired the car on March 28. They stabbed Ravindar to death at Kothur and buried him at the same place.
Police examined the CCTV footage at a Reliance petrol bunk located at Nagulabanda. The footage helped them to crack the case. Police nabbed the accused at Kothur who confessed the crime. Cops recovered weapons that were used to kill Ravindar. A case has been registered.
