Muslim groups see this as a step to scuttle the peace in the Begumpet

Several Muslim organisations in the city will be staging a protest in front of the United States Consulate at Begumpet against the United States recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and opening an embassy there.

US President’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner are heading a delegation of dignitaries from Washington to the US Embassy inauguration ceremony in Jerusalem.Muslim groups see this as a step to scuttle the peace in the area and strengthen the claims of Israel on occupied areas of Palestine.
