Telangana PCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Tuesday said that the Congress is org-anisationally very strong in the state, with four lakh Congress soldiers.

Speaking at a meeting as part of the Leadership Development Mission in Reserved Constituencies (LDMRC), Mr Reddy said that the work of LDMRC has been going really well in improving the party in the reserved constituencies. He said this model should be extended to all Assembly constituencies in the state.

Mr Reddy said that a leader should work with voters. He said that in the coming elections, technical resources will have more effect and the party should collect in-depth information. He said that LDMRC had collected information from 31 Assembly constituencies and this should be extended to all general constituencies. “If polling booth-level leaders meet the people and collect information, according to the forms prepared by the Congress technical division, and extend the required help and assistance, then the Congress will go further nearer to the people,” he said.

AICC leader Koppula Raju said that remaining constituencies have also taken it up and will collect information.
