Elections might happen anytime soon. So, Telangana CM KCR is leaving no stone unturned to stay in the good books of all the sections in the society. Poor in Upper Castes have always complained about not being able to receive enough benefits whichever Government might be in power. Now, TRS Chief is going to change that impression.

Recently, Huge number of Arya Vysyas from Hyderabad and Secunderabad joined TRS in the presence of KTR, Deputy CM Muhammad Ali, Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. On this occasion, The IT Minister said: 'There are many poor people even in the Upper Castes. We will take a decision on extending benefits of welfare programmes to Arya Vysyas after holding talks with CM. We would respond positively in allocation of land, offer preference to them in nominated and other posts. Even Tickets in general elections is being examined'.

As per 2014 Household Survey, Upper Caste Population is 21.50 percent (78 lakh out of 3.60 crore total population) in Telangana.   TRS Government could extend benefits of few welfare schemes to the poor in the Other Castes (OCs). Instead of reservations in jobs or educational institutions, KCR is keen to offer reservations in welfare schemes for OCs. This include Kalyana Lakshmi, Gurukul Schools Admission & Loans for low interest rate.
