IMD predicts 2 more days rains in Hyderabad

Thu, Oct 05 : Recent incessant rains in Hyderabad left people and commuters in a nightmare. The meteorological department has predicted rain in Hyderabad and across Telangana for two more days. Low- lying areas have inundated with recent incessant rains.
The government has deployed about 140 monsoon and 50 voluntary helping teams to restore the normalcy in the city. MA& UD Minister KT Rama Rao said they will modernise drainage and sewerage systems. He said they have already alerted officials concerned over predicted rains in coming days. A father and son were killed when a hut was collapsed with recent rains, a case was filed against GHMC in HRC.
