Singareni elections go on like Assembly polls

Thu, Oct 05 : About 52,534 employees of the state-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) got the franchise rights to exercise their votes on Thursday for identification of recognised trade union in the public sector undertaking. The election is not less than Assembly polls as the ruling TRS has taken it in a prestigious manner. It is Telangana TRS MP K Kavitha, who took an active part in the campaigning process of the Singareni election.

On the other hand, the opposition parties have been trading charges against the ruling party with some allegations. Polling covering in the six districts have begun at 7 am and it will continue till 5 pm. From 7 pm, the counting will take place and the result is expected to be out in the mid-night.
