Food safety officials raid Karachi Bakery Branches

Thu, Oct 05 : Officials of the Legal and Meteorology department have raided branches of Karachi Bakery in Rangareddy and Medchal districts after a post of bread packet being sold with one day ahead manufacturing date at one of the branches went viral on social media platforms. The officials found 8 food items are being sold with wrong manufacturing date.
The proprietors of the Karachi Bakery said it was the fault of workers. But, the officials booked cases against the Karachi Bakery. Assistant Controller Bhaskar Reddy said that the Bakery branches were selling food items by manipulating manufacturing date.
