Degree student killed by her relative over conflict

Sat, Oct 07 : A degree student Sowmya was killed by her relative Krishnaiah at Jeedimetla in Hyderabad. Krishnaiah reprimanded Sowmya as he did not like her speaking to another man.

According to police, the accused beat her in a fit of a rage as a result of which she died. Krishnaiah dumped her body in IDL lake. Sowmya mother filed a complaint with Jeedimetla police as her daughter did not return in the evening. As police begin the probe, Krishnaiah has surrendered himself to police and confessed to the crime.
