Congress has no commitment towards Telangana : KCR

Sat, Oct 07 : Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said that the Congress had no commitment for the development of the Telangana region. He criticised former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru for his role in the creation of Andhra Pradesh state with Telangana as part of it.

KCR alleged that former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was behind the killing of many innocent people, who were staging agitation for separate Telangana state. Several people committed suicides as Congress President Sonia Gandhi delayed granting Telangana state by 14 years, he added. The TRS chief flayed the Congress leaders for claiming themselves of coming to power in Telangana after granting separate state in 2014.
