Husband harassment: Woman jumps from building died on the spot

Nirmal: A woman hailing from Nirmal committed suicide by jumping off the fifth floor the apartment building on Wednesday due to alleged harassment by her husband. Sonika Reddy (31) got married to Uday Kiran Reddy, a native of Thimmapur mandal of Bhainsa. A few months after marriage, Kiran began harassing her following which Sonika went to her parents home. Depressed over her marital life, Sonika jumped from an apartment building in Shastri Nagar. The victim went out from the house by informing her parents of visiting their relatives' house. The victim who suffered serious head injuries died on the spot. An investigation is underway.
