Heavy Inflows in AP and Telangana Projects

Sun, Oct 15 : Heavy rains lashed both Telugu states, Projects in the states have been receiving heavy inflows. Inflows to Srisailam Project has slightly reduced as it is receiving 1 lakh 39 thousand cusecs of water. The project has 210 tmc of water against to its full capacity of 215 tmc. Power generation is going on in Srisailam left and right canals.
Officials have already released 1 lakh 73 thousand cusecs of water to Nagarjuna Sagar. Meanwhile, on Godavari River, Sriram Sagar project (Nizamabad) is receiving heavy flood water as water is touching to its full capacity. The project has 50 tmc of water against to its full capacity of 90 tmc.
